Moah Creek Wind Farm will deliver meaningful local benefits including energy discounts, over $19M in community funding, and initiatives co-designed with the community.
Local Energy Discount Scheme
Following consultation about benefit ideas in 2024, CQP have brought forward the Local Energy Discount Scheme (LEDS).
In 2025, neighbours who reside within 3km of the proposed Project will be eligible to receive a $1000 direct energy discount to their residential electricity bill.

Neighbour Shared Benefit Scheme
The Moah Creek Wind Farm Neighbour Shared Benefit Scheme (SBS) is one of the programs we will implement to ensure that benefits from the project are meaningfully shared with the local community to include the project neighbours.
The SBS will provide a structured framework for direct annual benefits to neighbouring properties (within 5km) to the Moah Creek Wind Farm during project construction and operations, based on transparent eligibility criteria.
